Riverview Manor Nursing Home

Riverview-at-the-Park has been providing quality nursing care in a clean, cheerful, homelike environment for 35 years. The up-to-date facility prides itself on its small town, family-oriented atmosphere where patients, their loved ones, and a staff of veteran healthcare workers share a special relationship, dedicated to preserving the privacy and dignity of each resident and providing the best possible nursing care.

The all-in-one floor facility is located on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River and directly adjacent to a spacious city park. Residents at Riverview are encouraged to remain active through a variety of programs and events offered at the facility and in Ste. Genevieve, the small city in which it is located. Transportation is available on a regular basis.

Special amenities at Riverview at the Park include an indoor aviary and a charming, secure garden area for residents.

Riverview's administrator, Jeanette Wood, is a registered nurse with more than 40 years experience in healthcare, holding several key management positions over the years, always with the goal of providing high-quality care. She is a licensed nursing home administrator with a graduate degree in geriatrics. Jeanette maintains an open door policy at Riverview, encouraging the families of residents to contact her directly with concerns, questions and suggestions.

	Riverview's veteran staff of healthcare workers includes many individuals who have 10 or more years of experience at the facility. Their tenure provides continuity and stability, as well as a cadre of workers who are familiar with facility policies and procedures, and committed to the facility's high standard of care.

The comprehensive acute care hospital has a local medical staff of 16 physicians, including several board-certified specialists, with over 20 additional specialists available to serve residents of Riverview through the hospital's out-patient clinics. The Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District serves both facilities. the District maintains full-time service with Advanced Life Support vehicles staffed with licensed paramedics. For emergency medical situations requiring care outside the community, air-evac services provide 20-minute transport to St. Louis area hospitals.
